About Me

My photo
El Cimarrón
I am a WRITER, PHOTOGRAPHER, VIDEOGRAPHER, PUBLICIST, ARTIST, and MUSICIAN. Though not all at once. My writing and photography have been published in HAMPTONS, GOTHAM, and LOS ANGELES CONFIDENTIAL MAGAZINES. I have a B.A. from STANFORD in LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES and an M.A. from NYU in Latin American Studies. I served in the Agricultural Marketing program in the PEACE CORPS on behalf of small GUATEMALAN COFFEE growers for two years and three months, and only recently moved back to NEW YORK CITY. My recent paintings and drawings can be seen on my facebook profile. I like writing songs.I wrote a song called 'El Cimarrón.' It can be found on a posting in this blog. I hope you find my writings on Cuba intelligible and worthy of their pixels ¡Buen provecho!
